Workshop terms & conditions
Our workshops are designed to be relaxed, practical and safe for everyone attending. The following guidelines help ensure that both dogs and people have a positive experience.
Vaccination and health
Dogs attending workshops must be up to date with the recommended core vaccinations for the workshop location.
Dogs should be in good health and free from contagious illness. If your dog becomes unwell before the workshop, please contact us to discuss options.
Dogs in season should not attend group workshops.
Suitability for group training
These workshops take place in small group settings with multiple dogs present
Dogs attending should be comfortable seeing unfamiliar dogs and people at a distance and working in a shared space. If your dog has a history of aggression or finds group environments very stressful, please contact us before booking so we can help you decide whether the workshop environment is appropriate.
All Dogs Are Good reserves the right to pause or end a dog’s participation if we believe it is necessary for the safety or wellbeing of people or dogs.
Handlers and supervision
A maximum of two people may attend per dog. The primary handler must be 16 years of age or older. Children are welcome to attend but must be supervised by an adult at all times. For safety reasons, children may not handle dogs during training exercises unless agreed with the instructor.
Participants agree to follow the guidance provided by the trainers during the workshop.
Equipment and training approach
Dogs must wear a flat collar and/or harness and be handled on a standard lead.
Correction chains, prong collars, electronic collars and other aversive training tools are not permitted.
All Dogs Are Good uses force-free, positive reinforcement training methods, and participants agree to follow this approach during the workshop.
Responsibility for dogs
Handlers remain responsible for the behaviour and supervision of their dog at all times.
By attending the workshop, participants accept that working with animals carries some inherent risk and agree to take reasonable responsibility for their dog.
Cancellations and transfers
Workshop places are limited and must be paid in full at the time of booking.
If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. If we are able to fill your place from a waiting list, we may offer a refund. Late cancellations are not refundable.
If a workshop is cancelled by the organiser, a full refund will be provided.
Photography
Photos or short video clips may be taken during workshops for educational or promotional purposes.
If you would prefer that you or your dog not appear in photos, simply let us know on the day.
Agreement
By registering for a workshop, you confirm that the information you have provided is accurate and that you agree to the terms outlined above.
