FAQs

My puppy hasn’t finished their vaccination period. Does that rule us out?

The most important window for socialisation is before 16 weeks. Waiting until puppies are fully vaccinated often means missing this critical period, which can lead to fear and behaviour issues later on.

That’s why our classes are designed to be both safe and developmentally appropriate—starting with an online session and held in a thoroughly cleaned venue with only puppies attending.

Early, safe socialisation sets your pup up for a calmer, more confident future. See the Pet Professional Guild position statement on puppy socialisation.

What training methods do you use?

We use simple, positive methods to teach real-life skills you’ll actually use—helping you and your pup navigate everyday life together.

What if I miss a class? Do I have to pay for it?

The course is paid in full upfront, and to get the most out of it, we strongly recommend attending all sessions. However, we understand that life happens! That’s why we include resources and weekly support calls to help you stay on track.

My puppy is very shy/hyper/bitey—will this still work?

Absolutely! With two experienced trainers (a rare bonus!), we can tailor our approach to suit your pup’s needs. The small class size ensures plenty of one-on-one attention, no matter your puppy's personality.

Can the whole family come?

Yes! The whole family is welcome. For younger children, we recommend bringing another adult so one person can focus fully on the puppy. If you have any concerns about bringing children along, just get in touch - we're happy to chat through the options.

My puppy is older than 20 weeks—can we still join?
This class is designed for younger pups. If yours is a bit older, get in touch—we may have another class that suits better.
